Amar Reddy

Amar Reddy

CEO

Mr.Reddy brings over 15 years of experience as a technology professional, with wide-ranging roles in architecting and implementing large enterprise solutions in Telecommunications, Pharmaceutical, Insurance and Finance/Banking industries. He has deep experience in systems, applications and unified communications that he brings to Smart IMS, where he leads the services offerings to small, medium, and large customers. Till recently, he held senior techology leadership roles at Merrill Lynch where he led solutions implementation for ML Private Clients at over 700 branches, and was an integral part of the M&A practice that included many acquisition projects for ML. He has held senior positions in Marsh and McLennan, AT&T, Hoffman-LaRoche, and other public companies.

Mr. Reddy holds an MS from the City University of New York, is a published author and has received awards from the City University of New York for his research work.

He is a charter Member in TIE – NJ-PHL chapter, and is the founder of the Fluorosis Awareness Movement in US for A.P, India, on water contamination. He frequently conducts school literacy development programs in rural India.

Mr. Reddy was also a co-Founder of INVAGEN Pharmaceuticals, and is a Co-Founder of Symphony Pharma & Life Sciences, a high-growth CRO company with global offices.

Has 25 years of experience within IT Services and has been working with Smart IMS since 2009. With a background encompassing Solutions and Staffing, he has successfully assisted clients providing innovative onshore, near shore and offshore solutions that are cost effective and “right sized” for their IT challenges. Proving Smart IMS as a truly full service IT services provider, Bob has worked with clients that have unique requirements such as multilingual, international web development projects and multi site satellite recognition applications requiring domestic and global support, while partnering with them to solve their difficult individual requirement needs. Bob has also introduced Smart IMS’s Infrastructure Services offerings and capabilities to clients from Fortune 50 through smaller entities showcasing our global network support and innovative solutions to complex situations

Is Managing Director for (ASIMS) - Infrastructure Management Practice. ASIMS is a Smart IMS company providing world class Managed Service Provider of IP network infrastructures and IP network elements specializing in SIP, Session Border Controller and Unified Communications integration. ASIMS currently supports some of the largest service provider and global enterprise companies in business today.

Steve has provided executive leadership of ASIMS since 2013.

Steve’s career has spanned over 35 years, including 21 years with AT&T. His last four years with AT&T, he was Client Business Manager supporting Merrill Lynch worked with on several key transformational projects. Most notable projects were the IP Enabled Frame Relay to MPLS upgrade which enabled the CISCO ATP Voice project in which we transformed 740 domestic branch offices from a myriad of PBX, Key and Centrex based systems to a dual data center Cisco VoIP environment. This was followed by the transformation of Merrill’s World Financial Center HQ locations from twenty-five year old 5ESS technology to a 14,000 line Avaya IP PBX. This lead up to the transformation of trader voice services from a legacy site based model to a centralized IP based model. Eventually, under Steve’s leadership, ASIMS developed it’s Avatar Network Management Solutions suite which won a contract from Bank of America/Merrill Lynch to support their global, Acme Packet based Trading Communications network.

Steve’s personal goal is to mentor his team to deliver the highest quality services to ASIMS clients and partners and to help ASIMS consistently exceed business goals and objectives.

 
Nagesh Gouravaram

Nagesh is the Chief Operating Officer with Smart IMS. He has been with SmartIMS for more than 14 years and has been instrumental in the steady growth of Smart IMS. Nagesh is responsible for taking Smart IMS into the global market and has helped the organization penetrate into multiple domains with specialized services. He has been an able leader to the Smart IMS team, while establishing efficient operational methods within the company and with our partner firms.

Nagesh holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical engineering from Kakatiya University, India. He has entrepreneurial expertise encompassing over 12 years apart from leadership experience in Information Technology services. Prior to his engagement with Smart IMS, Nagesh founded a technology services company in India, which specialized as a single source solutions provider for all technology needs for then emerging IT services.

He brings extensive business consulting experience in large enterprises, with relevant deep-domain expertise in diverse technologies, and delivers extensive capabilities as the COO in client engagement delivery.

Jennifer Alfonzo

Has 20 years of experience in the IT Industry providing Solutions and Consulting Services to various Fortune 100 Corporations, on a global basis. After graduating with a Double Major in Business Management and Psychology, her career began as an IT Recruiting Manager, which has given her unique insight as to the full lifecycle of IT consulting services. Her background in Solution Sales developed during her career working for International companies like Keane and Covansys (now CSC) to support each of her clients’ unique challenges with the right combination of onshore, near-shore and offshore delivery models. Jennifer has been with Smart IMS for more than three years, successfully supporting clients in a variety of industries, such as Bank of America, The City of Philadelphia, Valeant Pharmaceuticals, Alcoa and more. She continues to take a consultative approach to business development, leveraging our core strengths across the United States, in India and Singapore.

With more than 25 years of experience in technology, IT and telecommunication industries, and specializing in UC and SIP communication as an effective business solution. Excellent ability to communicate ROI, project details, product selection, outlining various communication solutions, along with providing product comparisons, that best suit clients integration requirements.

Have guided Fortune 200 companies in VoIP multi-site projects with upwards of 20,000 concurrent sessions for corporate wide VoIP deployment.. Articulated requirements for disaster recovery designs, organized and supported the Test and Turn-up for these deployments.

Compiled migration plans and requirements for small and medium size businesses, for UC and SIP deployments, while focusing attention to timelines and the customer’s budget constraints.

Understanding of the many required regulatory requirements, such as; HIPPA, Sarbanes–Oxley.

Siva brings more than 17 years of experience in information technology with proven expertise in managerial as well as technical roles. Prior to Smart IMS, he has had a successful track record of working with Fortune 500 companies to implement large-scale enterprise systems, drive the technical design, strategy and road map of several valuable projects. After having graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University, Hyderabad in 1986, Siva began his career in engineering and software development with large corporations in Hyderabad. Later working for companies like Tata Consultancy, Deutsche Babcock, Amdocs and Deloitte consulting, he made valuable contributions to clients’ bottom lines by leading the consulting practice in senior management positions. Siva has been instrumental in steering the software engineering methodologies and delivery practices for solution deployments at Smart IMS.

Satrajita Mokkala

Satya holds a masters degree in Communications and Information Studies from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. She also has a Masters degree in Communications and Journalism from SV University, India. She is an experienced professional implementing technique of human factors engineering into information systems and user interface design. She also has considerable experience working in the Telecommunications Industry. As a Systems Engineer, she works closely with network operations team in the systems analysis, design and reporting of traffic data for various network elements. She has a keen insight into the needs of business through extensive customer interactions and delivery of working solutions.

Lou has over 25 years of strategic sales and business development experience, providing a full range of creative Information Technology services to large, mid-tier, and government clients, helping clients to build a world class brand image. He works strategically, as a consultative advisor to C level management to help determine solutions that include the tactical deployment of expert technology resources, in support of their key technology initiatives. His experience includes a strong focus on solution sales, using on, near, and off-shore delivery models, as well as strong experience selling a wide range of consulting services. His solution expertise includes developing, and selling knowledge management, content management, infrastructure support, application development, and quality assurance solutions.

Infrastructure

As Senior IT manager for (ASIMS), his duties include; global responsibility for all ASIMS IT Operation, Engineering, Architecture, projects, and escalations for clients and partners.

Since 2013 served as the IT Operations Manager & Service Delivery Manager, having prior 15 years of experience in the IT industry, along with 15 years of proudly serving in the US Armed Forces in a similar capacity. He has spearheaded multiple projects, including ASIMS data center modernization, including the design, and build of the new VM infrastructure, added important layers of security and resiliency. His efforts provided enhancements to the ASIMS Avatar monitoring platform, resulting in elevating Avatar to a superior solution for VIOP monitoring.

James’s personal goal is to mentor and educate his team to deliver the highest quality services to ASIMS clients which as proven by consistently exceed the companies goals and objectives.

Vasantha Gullapalli

Application Development and Management

Is an Electronics and Communication engineer by education with a Master's in Computer Engineering. Her corporate career spans over 16 years in Sapient Corporation and Dow Jones. At Sapient, she was the 70th employee and started as a Software Engineer and eventually grew into a Sr. Manager overseeing multiple programs for fortune 100 clients in the financial services and media/publishing industries. She was one of the core team members who defined and rolled out the Global Delivery practice for Sapient in early 2000s and was involved in all aspects of setting up and growing the Sapient’s Offshore Application Delivery and Management practice in Delhi, India. While at Sapient, her focus verticals were Financial services and Media and publishing.

After Sapient, she joined DowJones in NJ/NY and was the Application Director managing development, quality assurance and project management teams that were responsible for the consumer digital products including WSJ.com, Barrons and Marketwatch across multiple medium (online, mobile and tablets).

Vasantha is overseeing the offshore application delivery practice of Smart IMS working from Hyderabad Office. Vasantha is currently involved in various capacities with different for-profit and not-for-profit organisations in India.

Prashanth Mitta

Head (Operations, India)

Prashanth Mitta is the Head of Operations for Smart IMS India office. An MBA from New Delhi, He has spent over a decade in advancing through a series of Leadership positions. He has gained significant global experience by heading operations and Business Development of Two Start up Firms and has led multiple process and outsourcing Programs.

More recently, Prashanth held the position of Asst. Vice President at Coretree Solutions taking care of the entire gamut of Operations Activities including HR, Commercial and Corporate Communication functions.

Prior to Coretree, Prashanth was General Manager at GISystems.org - the Indian arm of Global Info Systems, where he was instrumental in bringing visibility to the company through branding initiatives in India besides streamlining Operations, HR & Recruitment processes.
